Imagineer Zach Riddley has shared some new photographs of the flooring at EPCOT’s future Connections Cafe and Eatery.
In two posts on Instagram, Zach has revealed how some of the early designs for the Florida undertaking have served as inspiration for some intricate flooring layouts in Connections Cafe.
Zach claimed, “Drawing inspiration from Walt’s Florida task grasp plan, Imagineers developed a flooring inlay for Connections Eatery at EPCOT which would infuse the initial DNA of the vacation resort into this new place within Planet Celebration. A single of my favourite aspects is the intersection of I-4 and US 192 highways, represented by the orange strains which slice across the map. Linework displaying initial concepts for EPCOT, Magic Kingdom and other leisure facilities replicate the variety and scale that has constantly been the guiding eyesight for Walt Disney Planet.”
