Appointment
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Edward Crawford and reappointed Kimberly Gramm and Manny Salazar to the Solution Advancement and Small Enterprise Incubator (PDSBI) Board for terms established to expire on February 1, 2027. The PDSBI fund is a revolving personal loan plan administered by the Texas Financial Improvement Bank in just the Governor’s Business office of Economic Progress Finance Division at the path of the PDSBI Board. The function of the fund is to assist in the enhancement, generation, and commercialization of new or improved products and solutions and to foster and promote smaller business in the state.
Edward Crawford of Dallas is President, Proprietor, and Founder of Coltala Holdings. He is a member of the Younger Presidents Corporation – Dallas, Det Bozeman, and the Teneo Community and a life time member of Veterans of Overseas Wars. He is a trustee of the Tulane Small business School Council and co-founder and coordinator for the War Veterans Fund – PAC. Also, he is a former member of the New Globe Symphony Board of Trustees and served in the U.S. Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic where by he founded a espresso organization. As a US Naval Intelligence Officer, he served with Special Functions Command South in Latin The united states and afterwards served as Tribal and Political Adviser to a Specific Operations Process Drive through Operation Enduring Independence, Afghanistan earning the Bronze Star. Crawford gained a dual Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from Texas Christian University, Learn of Business enterprise Administration, Learn of World wide Administration, and a Master of Arts Latin American Studies from Tulane University, and a Grasp of Small business Administration from MIT Sloan University of Business.
Kimberly Gramm of Lubbock is the Affiliate Vice President of Innovation at Texas Tech University (TTU), establishing an innovation ecosystem in support of innovators and business owners. She is on the Commission on Economic and Community Engagement Executive Committee of the Affiliation of Community Land Grant Universities, a member of the Association of College Exploration Parks and Office of Outreach & Engagement Advisory Board, and a board member of the TTU Global Laboratory for Electrical power Asset Administration and Manufacturing Board. Moreover, she is a member of the Innovate Texas Tech Mentor System and a reviewer at VentureWell, a nationwide corporation supporting science and engineering innovators. Gramm been given a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of South Florida and a Master of Organization Administration from the University of Tampa, and is at the moment pursing a Ph.D. at TTU.
Manny Salazar of Kingsville is President/CEO of the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce and the Higher Kingsville Financial Advancement Council. He is a member of the Kleberg County Communities in Educational institutions Board of Directors, Kingsville ISD Job and Specialized Education Advisory Board, and the Workforce Services of the Coastal Bend Board. Moreover, he is co-founder of Jr. Leadership Kleberg County. Salazar obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M-Kingsville.
