THOMASVILLE — Two suspects are in custody immediately after authorities explained they traveled from out of state to dedicate a robbery at a nearby advantage shop.

On Saturday at close to 12:40 p.m., officers responded to Krishna’s Corner located on 1060 West Jackson Street in reference to preliminary studies of a theft.

“When we got there and started out investigating it, we discovered that we actually had a robbery,” Toby Knifer, Thomasville Police Division Legal Investigations Division commander, reported.

During the investigation, police identified the two suspects associated in the robbery—one dressed in business enterprise apparel, and just one dressed in a building employee apparel.

Even though 1 suspect distracted the retail store clerk, the other suspect went into the retail store office and stole an not known amount of money of dollars, authorities said.

It was not right up until the retailer clerk discovered the suspect coming from the workplace spot with the stolen money that the suspects fled in a white auto.

“Fortunately, the clerk was capable to seize some photos of the suspects’ auto which provided the tag range,” Knifer mentioned.

Thomasville detectives linked a different store theft that the suspects are thought to be included in.

Edward Cummins and Derek Pogue are billed with theft, together with other pending expenses.
